Why I Started Keeping a Daily Log

I’ve never managed long-form journaling, but a daily log stuck. I keep a note titled "Today" and drop in bullets as I go: what I worked on, moments worth remembering, things to revisit tomorrow.
Looking back, tiny entries form a surprisingly clear map. It’s useful when a week blurs together; it’s invaluable when planning the next one.
Tip: keep it frictionless. A keyboard shortcut, a pinned note, a single place. The lower the effort, the more honest the log.
